Uttarakhand: Vasudhara Falls Trek with Transfers

  • Chamoli
  • • Adventure Activities
  • • Duration 7 hour

Description

The Vasudhara Falls Trek is an unforgettable high-altitude adventure in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Located beyond Mana Village near Badrinath, this scenic trail leads trekkers through dramatic mountain landscapes, rocky pathways, alpine meadows, and beautiful views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.

The experience begins with pickup from your accommodation in Badrinath or another agreed local meeting point. After a transfer to Mana Village, you meet your trek guide and receive a short safety briefing before starting the hike. The trail gradually takes you away from the village into a rugged mountain environment, with views of the Alaknanda valley and surrounding peaks along the way.

At the destination, admire Vasudhara Falls, a spectacular waterfall cascading down a steep rock face from a height of approximately 122 metres. Visitors can spend time appreciating the scenery, photographing the waterfall from safe locations, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere before retracing the route.

The trek is suitable for reasonably fit travellers who are comfortable walking for several hours at high altitude. Weather, trail conditions, and local access restrictions can affect the experience.

The activity concludes with a return trek to Mana and a pre-arranged transfer back to Badrinath.
