Uttarakhand: Rishikesh Jungle Trek with Transfers

Escape the busy streets of Rishikesh and explore the forested Himalayan foothills on a guided jungle trekking experience with transfers. The experience begins with pickup from the designated Rishikesh pickup zone, followed by a short drive towards the forest trailhead around the Tapovan–Neer Garh area. Neer Garh is a practical route for this experience, with forest paths, stone sections, streams, rocky terrain and waterfall surroundings. Current route information describes the waterfall area as a short trek from the Rishikesh–Badrinath Highway, with longer routes reaching the upper waterfall sections.

After reaching the trailhead, meet the local guide and begin walking through the forest. The trek includes gradual climbs, natural viewpoints, shaded sections and opportunities to observe the vegetation and landscape of the lower Himalayan foothills. Depending on weather and trail conditions, the route can continue towards Neer Garh Waterfall and its natural pools. Swimming should only be allowed when the guide confirms that conditions are safe.

The experience is designed as an accessible nature adventure rather than a technical mountain trek. Guests should still expect uneven ground, steps, rocks and potentially slippery sections after rain. The return trek leads back to the vehicle, followed by transfer to the original Rishikesh drop-off point.
