Uttarakhand: Rishikesh Giant Swing

Experience the thrill of a giant swing in the Himalayan foothills of Rishikesh, combining a dramatic free-fall sensation with a wide swinging motion above the surrounding valley. Located in the Mohanchatti adventure zone, the activity is designed for travellers looking for an adrenaline-filled experience that is different from conventional sightseeing. Participants are securely attached to a professional harness and safety system before being positioned at the designated jumping platform.

The experience begins with registration and a detailed safety briefing. Trained staff explain the swing procedure, body position, safety instructions and the sequence of the jump. Before participation, the activity team checks the harness, attachment points and other required safety equipment. Once everything is confirmed, the participant is guided to the platform.

At the instructor's signal, the participant steps or jumps from the platform and experiences an initial free-fall before the swing system takes over. The participant then moves through a large pendulum-like arc before gradually slowing down. Depending on the operator's setup, participants are subsequently brought back to the designated recovery area.

The giant swing is particularly suitable for adventure seekers who want a high-energy activity without committing to a full-day excursion.
