Uttarakhand: Auli Skiing Day Experience with Transfers

The Auli Skiing Day Experience offers an exciting introduction to winter sports in one of India's most celebrated skiing destinations. Located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, Auli is known for its snow-covered slopes, coniferous forests, and spectacular views of Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi.

The experience begins with pickup from your accommodation or an agreed meeting point in Joshimath. After reaching Auli, participants meet their skiing instructor, receive suitable equipment, and attend a safety briefing. Beginners are introduced to the fundamentals of skiing, including standing on skis, balancing, moving on gentle slopes, controlling speed, and practising basic stopping techniques.

Under instructor supervision, guests practise on suitable beginner terrain, with the session adjusted to individual ability, snow conditions, and slope availability. Participants with previous skiing experience may spend additional time refining their basic techniques where appropriate.

Between sessions, visitors can enjoy the mountain scenery, take photographs, and rest with refreshments at their own expense. Ski equipment and winter clothing may be included or hired according to the selected package.
