What the Underwater Experience Looks Like

Superb Visibility: Racha Yai is famous for having some of the clearest waters near Phuket, with underwater visibility frequently reaching 15 to 30 metres. You can easily spot the bottom from the boat deck.
Marine Life Sightings: You will swim over fields of mostly hard corals. It is highly common to see dense schools of colorful tropical species like parrotfish, clownfish (Nemo), butterflyfish, moray eels, and occasionally sea turtles.
Beginner Friendly: Because the main bays are well-sheltered from strong ocean currents, the water remains calm, flat, and shallow, making it an optimal environment for children and first-time snorkelers

The standard Racha Yai recreational program includes two dives for certified divers.
Current published Racha Yai schedules generally depart Chalong at approximately 08:30.
Non-divers can join selected Racha Yai programs for snorkeling.
A valid diving certification is required for certified fun diving.
Discover Scuba options are available with certain operators for participants without prior certification.
Discover Scuba participants are supervised by an instructor and follow the operator's depth and safety limits.
Exact dive sites are selected according to weather, tides, visibility and sea conditions.
