Experience the high-altitude Phase 2 ride of the Gulmarg Gondola, travelling from Kongdoori station toward the Apharwat mountain area. The cable car provides elevated views of Gulmarg's mountain landscape, alpine slopes and surrounding Pir Panjal range.

Phase 2 is the upper section of the Gulmarg Gondola system. Guests travel from Gulmarg base station to Kongdoori using Phase 1, then board the Phase 2 gondola toward Apharwat. The upper station reaches approximately 3,950 metres above sea level, where conditions can be considerably colder and more changeable than at the base.

The experience includes private SUV transfers from the selected pickup point, assistance with reaching the gondola boarding area and a reserved ticket arrangement subject to official ticket availability. Gondola tickets are date- and time-specific and should be secured through the official Jammu & Kashmir Cable Car Corporation booking system.

Important Notes

Phase 2 runs from Kongdoori toward Apharwat and requires access to Kongdoori via Phase 1. Confirm that both required ticket sections are included in the selected package.
Gondola tickets are date- and time-specific. Guests should follow the slot printed on their ticket and carry the same valid government-issued ID used for booking.
JKCCC currently states that boarding commences at approximately 08:00, entry for boarding closes at 15:30, and the last return timing is 17:00. Operating hours can change.
Phase 2 operations are subject to weather, wind, visibility, technical conditions and safety decisions. A valid ticket does not guarantee operation if the service is suspended.
The upper station is at high altitude, approximately 3,950 metres. Guests should move slowly, avoid overexertion and seek medical advice if they have concerns about altitude exposure.
Temperatures at the upper station can be significantly lower than in Gulmarg. Carry warm layered clothing, gloves, suitable footwear, sun protection and drinking water.
Snow conditions, visibility and access to the upper visitor area vary by season. Snow activities are not included and may require separate arrangements.
Guests must follow gondola staff instructions, remain within permitted areas and return within the time advised by the operator. Any closure, delay or refund is governed by the official ticket terms.
