Unawatuna is known for its sheltered bay, rocky headlands and accessible nearshore reef areas. Depending on sea conditions and the confirmed route, guests may observe tropical reef fish, coral formations and other marine life. Sea turtle sightings are possible but cannot be guaranteed.

The experience includes snorkeling equipment, an introductory safety briefing, guided assistance and private SUV transfers from a selected pickup point. A boat trip to a suitable snorkeling location is included when confirmed in the selected package.

The southern coast generally offers its best snorkeling conditions from November to April, when seas are often calmer and underwater visibility is better. Conditions can change daily, and the operator may adjust or cancel the water activity if it is unsafe.

Guests should report 30 minutes before the scheduled activity at the designated meeting point.
