Sonamarg: Sindh River Rafting Experience with Private Transfer

Experience white-water rafting on the Sindh River near Sonamarg, surrounded by the Himalayan mountains and the spectacular landscapes of Kashmir.

The Sindh is a cold, glacier-fed river that flows through the Sonamarg valley. J&K Tourism identifies the upper-to-lower Sonamarg section as one of the region's important professionally guided rafting areas.

Depending on river conditions and the confirmed operator, guests can select a shorter rafting stretch such as Wussan to Wayul, approximately 8 km and around 30 minutes on the water, or a longer Sonamarg to Wussan stretch of approximately 15 km. Current published operator information places these options around Grade II, while longer sections of the Sindh can become considerably more challenging during high-water periods.

The experience combines private road transportation from Srinagar, rafting preparation, professional safety briefing, equipment fitting and the guided river run.
