Itinerary With Map

Day 1: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

The expedition begins early morning from Leh (approx. 3,500m) as travelers start their journey towards the remote Himalayan landscapes of Nubra Valley in a private Xylo SUV. Travel through winding mountain roads and dramatic terrain while ascending towards Khardung La (Approx. 5,359m), one of the highest motorable mountain passes in the world. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of snow-covered mountains, rugged valleys, and high-altitude Himalayan landscapes throughout the route. Multiple short halts may be taken during the journey for photography, refreshments, acclimatization, and operational breaks depending on weather and road conditions. After crossing Khardung La, descend into the stunning Nubra Valley region known for its cold desert terrain, remote villages, river valleys, and dramatic mountain scenery. Travelers can continue towards their separately booked accommodation/stay location in Nubra Valley for overnight halt at their own arrangements.

This is a frontier-region Himalayan road expedition focused primarily on the road journey and high-altitude experience rather than detailed sightseeing exploration of the Siachen Valley region.
The journey towards the Siachen Base Camp sector will be conducted only till the point where civilian vehicles and travelers are officially permitted subject to military regulations, local permissions, weather conditions, and operational accessibility.
A minimum of 2 days of proper acclimatization in Leh is strongly recommended before joining this expedition.
This package does not include accommodation/stay arrangements. Travelers planning to halt in Nubra Valley must arrange their stay separately.
The journey involves long driving hours through rugged mountain roads, rough terrain, remote valleys, and high-altitude frontier routes.
Pickup and drop are available only within the Leh City operational area. Additional charges may apply for locations outside the operational pickup zone.
Carry warm clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, snacks, and personal medications.
Basic first aid kit and oxygen cylinder support are available during the journey.
In case a traveler feels unwell during the expedition, basic oxygen and first aid support will be provided wherever operationally possible. Additional evacuation, taxi support, medical transport, or emergency arrangements if required shall be chargeable directly to the traveler.
Only one small backpack or duffle bag per traveler is recommended. Large luggage bags or suitcases are not advisable for this expedition.
Mobile network connectivity may remain limited or unavailable in several sections of the route.
Travelers are advised to carry sufficient cash as ATMs and digital payment networks may not function reliably in remote regions.
Any delays caused due to snowfall, landslides, military restrictions, roadblocks, weather conditions, traffic, or operational factors are beyond operational control.
