Beginning with a scenic shuttle from Leh into the Sham Valley region, the route combines thrilling descents, technical switchbacks, exposed climbs, and breathtaking views across the western Indus Valley. Riders pass through traditional villages such as Yangthang and Hemis Shukpachan, known for terraced farmland, mud-brick homes, sacred juniper groves, and ancient Buddhist heritage.
