Itinerary With Map

Day 1: Journey from Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La Pass

The journey begins from Pangong Tso, Man Village where travelers board the shared SUV or begin the bike ride towards Leh. Drive through the scenic landscapes of Ladakh while witnessing mountain valleys, rugged terrain, river stretches, and remote Himalayan scenery throughout the route. En route, stop at Durbuk for a tea break before continuing the drive towards the legendary Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. After crossing Chang La, continue towards Karu where another short tea halt may be taken depending on operational timing and weather conditions. Further ahead, visit the famous Rancho School in Leh if time permits before proceeding towards the hotel. Multiple short halts may also be taken during the journey for refreshments, photography, and operational breaks depending on road and weather conditions. By evening, arrive in Leh and check in to the budget hotel/stay. Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Leh.
