Pai: Elephant Sanctuary Experience with Transfers

Spend a memorable half-day at a Pai elephant sanctuary and learn about the daily care, behaviour and lives of rescued elephants. The experience begins with hotel pickup in Pai and a scenic transfer to the sanctuary. After a short introduction and safety briefing, meet the elephants and learn how they are cared for.

Depending on the sanctuary's daily program and elephant welfare guidelines, guests can participate in activities such as preparing elephant food, feeding the elephants, walking through the natural surroundings and observing their behaviour. Some Pai programs also offer river bathing or water activities, subject to the elephants' willingness and local conditions. Current Pai listings emphasize no-riding programs and interaction based around care and observation.

The experience is designed to provide close but respectful contact while allowing the elephants to follow their natural routines. After the sanctuary visit, return to your Pai hotel by private/shared transfer.
