Kenya: David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Visit with Transfer

  • Nairobi County
  • • Wildlife & Nature
  • • Duration 3 hour

Description

Visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nairobi Nursery, one of Nairobi's best-known wildlife conservation experiences, with private SUV transfers from your selected Nairobi pickup location.

The Nairobi Nursery is located inside Nairobi National Park and provides the first stage of rehabilitation for orphaned elephants before they eventually progress to the Trust's reintegration units in the Tsavo ecosystem.

The public visiting session takes place daily from 11:00 to 12:00, except 25 December. During the visit, guests observe orphaned elephants arriving for their midday milk feed and mud bath while a senior Keeper explains their rescue stories, care and the Trust's wider conservation work.

The experience requires advance booking and the Trust states that same-day bookings are not accepted. The public session cannot be delayed for late arrivals, so guests should reach the KWS Mbagathi Gate well before 11:00.

Meeting instruction:

Guests should report 30 minutes before the scheduled activity at the designated meeting point.
