The village is home to the historic Namphake Buddhist Monastery, regarded by Assam Tourism as the oldest Tai-Phake Theravada monastery in Assam. The peaceful setting also makes the monastery an important meditation centre.

The experience introduces guests to the Tai-Phake community, its Buddhist traditions, village lifestyle, architecture and cultural heritage. Visitors can explore the monastery complex, see the golden Buddha image, Mucalinda Tank, Ashokan Pillar and pagoda, and learn about the religious traditions preserved by the community.
