Experience parasailing at Elephant Beach, the main water-sports hub on Havelock Island (officially Swaraj Dweep).

After reaching Havelock Jetty, guests travel by speedboat to Elephant Beach, a journey that generally takes around 20–30 minutes depending on sea conditions. Elephant Beach is officially recognised by Andaman & Nicobar Tourism as a destination for parasailing and other marine adventure activities.

At the beach, guests check in with the water-sports operator, receive a safety briefing and are fitted with the required life jacket and parasailing harness before being connected to the tow line.

The boat gradually lifts the participant above the Andaman Sea, providing panoramic views of the turquoise water, coastline and surrounding tropical landscape. The actual flight is short, while the complete activity including preparation and waiting can take considerably longer.

Meeting instruction:

Guests should report 30 minutes before the scheduled activity at the designated meeting point.

Important Notes

Elephant Beach is located on the northern side of Swaraj Dweep and is one of the island's main water-sports destinations.
Elephant Beach can be reached by approximately 20–30 minute speedboat from Havelock Jetty, depending on conditions.
The actual parasailing flight is much shorter than the complete beach/activity experience because briefing, equipment fitting and waiting time are additional.
Minimum age and weight requirements vary by operator; current Havelock listings commonly specify minimum ages between approximately 10 and 14 years, so the confirmed operator's rule must be followed.
Swimming ability is generally not required because participants wear a life jacket, but all participants must be able to follow crew instructions.
Parasailing is dependent on wind, weather, sea conditions, beach operation and local permissions.
The activity may be postponed, modified or cancelled when conditions are considered unsafe.
Guests should wear comfortable beachwear, avoid loose accessories and follow all instructions from the boat and parasailing crew.
